Product Description

Ferrate (sodium, potassium) is a hexavalent iron salt, with strong oxidation, soluble in water can release a large number of atomic oxygen, which is very effective in killing bacteria and viruses in water. At the same time, itself is reduced to the new ecological Fe (OH) 3, which is an excellent quality inorganic flocculant, which can efficiently remove fine suspended matter in water. Function of Potassium Ferrate 
Potassium ferrate can release oxygen after entering water, so potassium ferrate has a strong oxygen release capacity, which can supplement the shortage of dissolved oxygen in the water body.
As a good water-soluble fungicide, potassium ferrate can destroy some substances (such as enzymes) in the cell wall, cell membrane and cell structure of microorganisms through strong oxidation, inhibit the synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids, hinder the growth and reproduction of microorganisms, and play the role of killing algae and bactericides.

Application of Potassium Ferrate
As a new non-nitrogen highly efficient disinfectant for drinking water treatment, it can quickly kill bacteria and viruses in water; Remove some organic pollutants and heavy metal ions in the water, decolorize and deodorize, condense circulating water to control the formation of biological slime scale, and treat the wastewater containing phenol and cadmium cyanide plating. Oxidized starch is prepared for paper surface sizing and textile finishing. In chemical production, it is used for oxidized sulfonic acid, nitrite, ferrocyanide and other inorganic substances. It is used to remove manganese, antimony and arsenic in zinc smelting. In the tobacco industry, it is used for cigarette filters.
