Methotrexate,also called Mtx, Methylpteroylglutamate is Methotrexate, an organic compound with a chemical formula of C20H22N8O5, , In short, methotrexate is antineoplastic drugs used in various acute leukemia, choriocarcinoma, malignant mole and psoriasismainly used as an antifolate antineoplastic drug.

Methotrexat is yellow crystalline powder. The melting point is 185-204°C. Soluble in dilute alkali, acid or alkali metal carbonate solution.
