Product Description

Hypochlorous acid is an oxy-containing acid of chlorine with the chemical formula HClO and the structural formula H-O-Cl, where the valence of chlorine is +1. It exists only in solution, its strong solution is yellow, the dilute solution is colorless, has a very pungent, chlorine-like odor, and is extremely unstable, is a very weak acid, weaker than carbonic acid, and hydrogen sulfuric acid equivalent. Hypochlorous acid also has a strong bleaching effect, and its salts can be used as bleach and disinfectant.
